TYR is a great company but these goggles do not live up to their reputation . In the water they cause a distortion of vision which is annoying to say the least

I am a swimmer with Indy Aquatic Masters, and I swim 2-3x’s a week. These are my favorite google I have ever tried. I won’t buy any thing else. The price, the fit and adjustable straps are what I like. They don’t fog up and don’t leak. They also come in blue tint for open water or outdoor swimming to block the sun! I will definitely purchase again!

I replaced old Tyr goggles with these and am so glad I did. They don’t fog up so much and no leaking!

I have tried many goggles to keep water out of my eyes while swimming laps in the pool. None have ever worked until these goggles. They are easy to adjust, snug fitting, but still comfortable, and they keep water out of my eyes. They do fog up after a while, but this is not a problem for me. I have used them for three weeks, so I can’t comment on how long they will continue to work effectively. I’ll come back to this review in a couple of months and update it. Highly recommended.
Update — I like these goggles even more than I stated in my first review. They are genuinely confortable and do not allow any water in to my eyes. Five stars is correct.
Last update. After three months of daily use these googles seem to work even better than when they were new. They keep water out of my eyes and I hardly know I have them on. Excellent product!
Hello, amazon readers. It is one year later and the goggles work as well as ever in keeping water out of my eyes. As noted, they do fog up. Great product, in my opinion.
D. Harris is correct. These swim goggles won’t be much use for underwater swimming. I tested them today and agree that they don’t give a clear view of the pool underwater. I am able to see well when my head is out of the water. I use them for swimming laps so underwater vision is not an issue for me. As another reviewer said, “nothing is perfect.”
Not Who You Expect –
Despite the claim to the contrary,in my experience these goggles need anti fog spray at least every other day or so. I don’t mind, I never imagined a true anti-fog goggle existed. What I care about is that these goggles are very comfortable and reliable. They don’t leak, don’t hurt and they stay on.
I’m nearsighted and the curvature of the lens actually allows me to see better underwater. I imagine this is an unintended feature but nice for me nonetheless.
I’m so happy with them that I always keep a spare in my bag in case something happens to them so I don’t have to be without them even for a day or if a friend forgets their goggles I have great ones for them.
